JFK's Revolver – The Gift That Never Arrived

Spectres continues its highly demanded firearms collection with the most historically significant piece yet: the revolver that was created for John F. Kennedy, but never delivered.

In 1963, Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company crafted one of the most extraordinary presentation revolvers in American history—a New Frontier Single Action Army, elaborately engraved from barrel to grip, intended as a gift for the 35th President of the United States. The JFK monogram in gold on the cylinder. The Presidential Seal. The White House engraved alongside gold stars. A gold PT boat inlay—a tribute to Kennedy's heroism in World War II, when he saved his crew after a Japanese destroyer split his vessel in half. The serial number: PT-109. His boat. His defining moment.

It was never presented. On November 22, 1963, President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. The revolver sat undelivered—a gift frozen in time, now resting in the National Firearms Museum as one of the most haunting objects in American history. A gun made for a president who never held it.

Some objects carry history. This one carries grief.

Spectres continues its acclaimed series of historical firearms collectibles—from Washington's Flintlock to Patton's 1911, Grant's Remington to the Trump Desert Eagle—with a faithful recreation of the revolver that never found its president. The elaborate engraving, the Presidential Seal, the PT boat inlay, the gold stars—all recreated in 2 oz of .999 fine silver with selective gold gilding, in the antiqued finish that has become a Spectres signature.

Issued by Samoa in 2027 with a face value of 5 Tala, this 2 oz .999 silver coin measures 90 x 36 mm in shaped, antiqued finish with selective gold gilding. Limited to 1,000 pieces, individually serial-numbered, encased in a protective capsule, and presented in our custom display case with numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

The gift that history never allowed.
