About the Piece
A puzzle cube is solved by bringing matching elements back together. A slot machine works on the same visual instinct: line up the right symbols and hit the jackpot. Jackpot Cube is an original Spectres concept combining the two, replacing the familiar colour system with six casino symbols ā bell, diamond, cherry, watermelon, lucky seven and BAR.
Ā
Designing the idea was the easy part. Making a working puzzle cube almost entirely from .999 silver required an extended research and development process. Unlike a static piece that can simply be cast or minted into its finished form, Jackpot Cube is a mechanism. It is built from 27 individually cast silver components, including the internal core, each of which has to work together as part of the moving puzzle. Every cube is assembled by hand, with stainless steel used only where the mechanism requires screws and springs. Everything else ā including the parts hidden inside once assembled ā is .999 silver.
Ā
At 57 mm on each side, Jackpot Cube keeps the familiar scale of a conventional puzzle cube but weighs 580 grams, completely changing the experience of holding and turning it. It can be twisted, scrambled and solved like the object it reimagines, only now more than half a kilogram of silver sits in your hands. The edition is limited to 77 pieces, carrying the lucky-seven idea into the number produced.

How is this a coin?
- A coin is defined by its official issuance, not by its physical shape. This piece is formally issued as legal tender by a sovereign issuing authority, with an official denomination and year of issue.
- Money and coinage have also taken unconventional forms throughout history, including ancient Chinese knife- and spade-shaped money. Spectres continues that idea in modern legal tender, where a coin may be round, shaped, functional, sculptural or fully three-dimensional.
