传国玉玺 – Heirloom Seal of the Realm
In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang did what no ruler had done before: he unified the Warring States and became the first Emperor of China. To mark this unprecedented authority, he commissioned the most powerful object in Chinese history—the Heirloom Seal of the Realm, carved from the sacred Heshibi jade and inscribed with eight characters that would echo across a millennium of imperial rule:
受命於天 既壽永昌
"Having received the Mandate of Heaven, may the emperor lead a long and prosperous life."
The Seal was not merely an object. It was the physical embodiment of the Mandate of Heaven—divine permission to rule all under heaven. Emperors who possessed it held unquestionable legitimacy. Those who lost it lost their claim to the throne. It was fought over, cast into a lake, chipped by an empress in fury, repaired with gold, passed through dynasties, and ultimately swallowed by history sometime after the Tang dynasty collapsed. It has never been found.
Until now—reimagined.
Spectres presents one of our most intricate creation yet: a fully three-dimensional pure silver interpretation of the Heirloom Seal of the Realm, limited to just 221 pieces in honor of the year it was forged.
Nine Chinese dragons—supreme symbols of imperial power—coil and surge across every surface of this piece, rendered in breathtaking detail. Their scales carry the crystalline texture of jade shards, their horns and bellies refined into the smooth elegance of jade sculpture. At the apex, a single flaming pearl rises—the sacred dragon pearl of Chinese mythology, representing wisdom, enlightenment, and the imperial flame that can never be extinguished. The Spectres Ghost signature is hidden somewhere within the composition, for the worthy to find.
The base is the seal die itself. Carved with the same eight ancient characters Qin Shi Huang ordered three centuries before the common era: 受命於天 既壽永昌. The Mandate of Heaven, immortalized in silver.
This is not a flat coin. This is a fully three-dimensional cube—a sculptural object that occupies space the way the original Seal occupied history: with absolute presence, from every angle.
Issued by Niue in 2027 with a face value of 10 Dollars, this 5 oz .999 silver piece measures L47 x W47 x H55 mm in fully three-dimensional, cube-shaped antiqued finish. Limited to 221 pieces—a direct tribute to 221 BC, the year the legend was born. Each individually serial-numbered, encased in a protective capsule, and presented in our custom display case with numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
The Seal was lost. The Mandate endures.
