Hold the line with THUG-QT
Inspired by the unmistakable ICE qualification silhouette target, this 2 oz pure silver coin delivers a bold and unmistakable visual statement. The reverse features the aggressive stance of the "thug" cartoon-style figure, originally designed as a firearms training aid. Rendered with striking proof finish and deep contrast, the figure aims directly forward, framed by scoring zones as seen on real training targets.
On the obverse, the official public seal of Niue certifies its legal tender status, flanked by three realistic bullet hole impressions, impactful details that bring the training-range inspiration full circle.
Struck from 2 oz of .999 fine silver, measuring 46 x 70 mm, the THUG-QT is issued by Niue with a face value of 5 Dollars. Limited to just 500 pieces worldwide, each coin comes with custom packaging and a numbered certificate of authenticity, a conversation-starting piece for collectors of modern Americana, law enforcement memorabilia, or unconventional numismatics.

How is this a coin?
- A coin is defined by its official issuance, not by its physical shape. This piece is formally issued as legal tender by a sovereign issuing authority, with an official denomination and year of issue.
- Money and coinage have also taken unconventional forms throughout history, including ancient Chinese knife- and spade-shaped money. Spectres continues that idea in modern legal tender, where a coin may be round, shaped, functional, sculptural or fully three-dimensional.
